When you watch a Chuck Norris film, doesn’t he just speak to you as an individual?
The answer is yes because he’s Chuck Norris, don’t question it.
I know more than one person is reading this, but I use the word ‘You’, ‘You’re’ and ‘You’d’ a lot.
You is a magic word because it zones in on one individual.
It makes what you’re saying personal.

You’re amazing. You’ve got Degrees, Diplomas and Keys to the City.
You’re bonafide awesome!
Customers care very little.
Open your website with a catchy first line. Make it funny. Make it shocking. Ask a question.
Whatever fits your brand, make it memorable.
Don’t make it all about you, or people will run a mile!
How To Be Kick-Ass Rule #4: Empathise With Your Audience
Your potential customers need something.
You have it.
But first, you need to show them you understand their pain points. Don’t just jump on them, waving your product in their faces and screaming about how it’ll change their lives.
Speak to your target audience like a human being. Tell them you’ve been in their position and that you’ve felt the way they do.
People deal with people, especially those who’ve suffered the same problems.
How To Be Kick-Ass Rule #5: Show Them The Benefits
Sure, you can tell them what you do, but what are the benefits of what you’re selling?
Maybe you sell odour eaters.
Saying: “We sell odour eaters that you put in your shoes,” is bland.
Your customers already know what you do.
So, what can you do to jazz up your wording and show them the benefits of buying from you?
“Find flowers wilt when your kick off your shoes? Help save the Bee population from starvation by sticking our odour inserts into your trainers before you buzz off to work.”
It’s more striking, it’s a little bit of fun – and your stinky socks will smell no more, which is excellent news for plants, Bees and humans everywhere.

Go on, show the world you’re different. Being bland and blending in won’t get you noticed.
